Privacy Policy

Dialed In ("the app," "we," "us") is a personal accountability tool that helps you work a daily call list and stay focused by shielding distracting apps until you reach your daily call goal. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. We designed Dialed In to keep your data on your device.

Summary
  • Your personal data — leads, contacts, call activity, and settings — stays on your device. There are no accounts or logins, and we never sell or share it.
  • The one exception is install attribution: with your permission (the iOS "Allow to Track" prompt), the app shares your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) with our analytics provider, AppsFlyer, so we can measure which of our own ads brought you to the app.
  • If you decline tracking, the app works exactly the same and no advertising identifier is shared.
  • We do not sell your data, and the app shows no third-party ads.

Information the app handles

The app stores the following only on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device storage:

This information never leaves your device. We have no ability to access it.

Camera

If you choose to scan a printed lead list, the app uses your camera to capture the image and Apple's on-device text recognition to read names and phone numbers from it. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded anywhere. We do not store the photos.

Contacts

If you choose to add leads from your iPhone Contacts, the app reads your contacts only with your permission and only to let you select people to add as leads. Contact data is used solely on your device for this purpose and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can revoke contacts access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Contacts.

Screen Time / Family Controls

Dialed In uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls and Managed Settings) APIs to shield the apps you choose until you reach your daily call goal. This is self-accountability — you choose which of your own apps to shield. The app does not monitor your activity in other apps, does not read your usage data, and does not share any Screen Time information. Your app selection is stored on your device only. You can revoke Screen Time access at any time in Settings › Screen Time.

Phone calls

When you place a call from the app, iOS opens the system dialer (the standard tel: confirmation appears). The app counts a call toward your goal but does not record calls, read call content, or access phone numbers from the system call log.

Advertising attribution (AppsFlyer)

To understand which of our own marketing campaigns (for example, ads on Meta, Google, or TikTok) bring new users to the app, we use a third-party attribution service, AppsFlyer. This is the only place the app sends data off your device, and it is used solely to measure our own advertising — not to profile you, build an ad audience, or show you ads inside the app.

Tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). The first time you reach the main app, iOS shows the standard "Allow Dialed In to track…" prompt:

Either way, your leads, contacts, call activity, and other in-app data are never sent to AppsFlyer or anyone else. You can change your tracking choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. AppsFlyer's handling of the data it receives is governed by its own privacy policy at appsflyer.com/legal. Apart from attribution, the app contains no other analytics or advertising SDKs.

Children

Dialed In is intended for real estate professionals and other adults. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Because all data is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. To delete your data, delete the leads and history within the app, or delete the app from your iPhone, which removes all of its stored data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above.
